Birthdays are Among Us!

There WILL be pictures added in the next day or two - but I know the lack of updates has everyone on their tip toes! Sunday the 22nd, our Lily turns two! She already knows how to hold up her two fingers and tell you that she's "dos". She is now sleeping in her own bed, thanks to a huge SpongeBob pillow and some new big girl bedding! It's been easier on her than it has been on us...she just yells "Bye Papa! Bye Mama!" and goes to her bed. We have to beg for the hugs and kisses! We are celebrating her birthday in Houston with family next weekend and then we're doing it here with friends and family on March 8th.
McKenzie turns 10 on March 17th - we don't have birthday plans as of yet - I'm trying to put together a day with her friends doing diva things like manicures and shopping and lunching with Aunt Kelly and myself.
Miss Bella is scheduled to make her appearance on Monday, March 30th! I have an ultrasound scheduled for March 3rd, so if any changes are to be made to the delivery date, they'll be made then! I have a bag packed and I was SO proud of myself for getting it done and then Lily's babysitter Sarah rained on my parade by asking, "and the girl's bags? What if it's unplanned, what are you doing with the girls?" JEEZ! Thank you Sarah, for everything!
And Mama and Papa are even going on a date tomorrow night :) Pictures soon to follow (of the girls, not the date!)

Sofie and Lily - January '09

Daniel and Kelly invited us over to get the little divas together since they're so close in age. Of course you would have more pics if the two Moms, both pregnant together again, weren't in charge of pictures. I forgot my camera and theirs held a charge just long enough for this one picture! Regardless, they had a blast, feeding each other green beans and chicken nuggets and playing. They were instantly attached to each other. Lily calls her "Sopie" and they both cried when we left. Kelly is having her newest diva Sadie on Thursday, February 5th - sure to be Bella's BFF.

The Next Noel

McKenzie was part of the Dance Team that performed in the Christmas Musical at our church. She practiced EVERY Sunday for four months and had 5 costume changes! She was amazing - smiling on stage throughout the entire play. We had a lot of fun! The Yanez Clan was there, as well as my Mom, and Aunt Donna all the way from Deer Park! We love Shoreline Church!!
